Lately I have been reflecting on Luke 10:18: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
What a fascinating verse. So much is packed into these 8 words! There is an entire history of heavenly warfare that we know so little about. Amidst so much else that we could say about this passage, one basic lesson is this: there is more going on around us than we can see.
To me, this is a reminder to pray, to be alert, and to remember that the most important battles being fought are invisible. In a way, this is encouraging: we cannot fully see what God is doing through our lives! The real battle is being fought in the heavenlies. Praise God that He has already defeated Satan at the cross, through what Jesus accomplished on our behalf!
2024 was a great year for Truth Unites! The YouTube channel got 5.4 million views and grew to 85,000 subscribers (in addition to further reach via podcast). But more meaningful to me than these metrics are the testimonies I receive from people around the world. Hearing about how God is using these videos brings me great joy. I feel as though I am following God’s pathway for me. I could not be more grateful. Please pray that God helps me be faithful to my mission, and that Truth Unites promotes assurance and joy in the gospel.
