Hey friends! This summer I will be leading a book discussion of Anselm’s Proslogion for supporters/patrons. We will meet via zoom Tuesday evenings at 7pm central (four total meetings): May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16.
Anselm is a window into so much–how faith and reason relate, a richer theology of heaven, classical theism, and the sheer joy of thinking about God! All you need to do is get the book, read the assigned chapters, and show up! I will do some lecture but pause frequently so we can process together as well. Here is the schedule:
May 26, 7:00pm central: Introducing Anselm and Medieval Theology (Introduction and Proslogion 1)
June 2, same time: Anselm’s Argument for God (Proslogion 2-4)
June 9, same time: Ascending Toward the Beatific Vision (Proslogion 5-22)
June 16, same time: The Escalating Joy of Heaven (Proslogion 23-26)
